Guanyadors del Fonix 2014

On May 10th the Fonix Final 2014 (an English Competition) was held in Palma.

Bernat Pol (2nd ESO) and Pau Serra (3rd ESO) got to the Final Stage, there were students from all the Balearic Islands. They both can be seen in the photo the day they took the exam.

Yesterday, May 19th, the results were published and we, very proudly, can say that Bernat Pol was awarded with the 4th prize and Pau Serra with the 6th prize of all the Baleric Islands .  The ceremony of prizes and diplomas will take place next Friday 30th.

Congratulations for both of them!!!!!

“It was a great challange to take part in the competition and I feel very proud of having achieved the final stage”, Pau Serra said after knowing the results.

“The teachers in the exams were very nice to us. I felt a bit nervous in the oral test, all in all I am happy with the experience and the prize.” Bernat said.

Guanyadors de les proves Cangur

Aquests alumnes han quedat classificats entre els 10 primers de les Illes Balears de cada nivell i dia 8 de maig aniran a la UIB a recollir el premi corresponent.

– Miquel Duran Pou, 10è classificat de 4t ESO, de Balears.

– Marina Rodríguez Higuero, 8a classificada de 1r Batxillerat, de Balears

– Aina Forteza Gómez,  6a classificada de 2n Batxillerat,  de Balears

– Julià Ballester Simón, 10è classificat de 2n Batxillerat, de Balears.

“Making of” de la trilogia Obsessió

A causa del concurs de relats audiovisuals que organitza cada any l’IES Joan Alcover, Albert Valado, Miguel Àngel Torres i Tòfol Martínez vàrem decidir aliar-nos amb la intenció de millorar els nostres resultats. D’aquesta unió va sortir la que varem anomenar “Trilogia Obsessió” (Remordiments, Demència i The man who sold the world), una trilogia de curtmetratges relacionats entre ells i cada un amb un tema i tonalitat diferents.

Volíem obtenir un resultat cinematogràfic, amb una història i un guió desenvolupats, però encara que tots tres tenen un to dramàtic, no podiem evitar esclatar a riure quan vèiem als nostres companys actuar davant una càmara. Aqui us deixam, doncs, una recopilació dels millors plans falsos que varen sortir del rodatge.
